Fountain Square Park

Recently renovated, Fountain Square Park held its grand opening on April 25, 2016; complete with a commission presence and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Being in need of renovation for many years prior to its scheduling, Fountain Square Park’s facelift was a momentous achievement for our town and for the residents of Fountain Square.

Based on recommendations from residents that Fountain Square Park contain a fountain worthy of its namesake, the main feature of the space is a sugar kettle fountain and seating wall in the center of the park. Additionally, Fountain Square Park features new, vibrant landscaping. This landscaping includes fresh sod, many small shrubs, a live oak, two crape myrtles, a red maple, and a yellow tabebuia tree.
