The Town of Belleair was proud to award the Doyle family with a "Best of Belleair Community Award" for providing bunker sand from the Pelican Golf Course for resident sandbag filling, which the Town estimates to have serviced 1,200 sandbags. Additionally, the Doyle family allowed their course to serve as the Town's "temporary debris storage and removal site" for more than 16,000 cubic yards of vegetative debris, which greatly expedited Belleair's recovery efforts.
