This Pinellas County project includes ADA-compliant sidewalks, curb ramps and driveways, along with drainage improvements to reduce flooding and inflow into the sewer system on Mehlenbacher Road. The project is being managed by Pinellas County and is expected to extend through October 2024. Currently, crews are working on drainage installation. Intermittent water outages are possible during this project, however, advanced notice will be provided to affected residents if this occurs.

The County will be preparing a tree mitigation plan to compensate for the trees that have been removed. A landscape contractor will re-plant the trees.

The westbound lane of Mehlenbacher Rd between Indian Rocks Rd and Clearwater Largo Rd remains closed until further notice. We will provide updates on any changes to road closures or detour routes when we receive that information from the County.
