Belleair Forest Drive Mill and Resurface Project
The milling and resurfacing of Belleair Forest Drive was completed on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 as scheduled. Take a look at some final photos from the project!
Notice of Construction
Belforest Drive will be milled and resurfaced on Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24. To inform residents of this work, the following information was mailed to all residents of Belleair Forest condominiums on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
The Town of Belleair is working with Asphalt Paving Systems to mill and resurface Belforest Drive next week. This project involves removing the top, cracked layer of asphalt from the street and then replacing it with a smooth, new finish. The project zone includes the entirety of Belforest Drive from Poinsettia Road south to Mehlenbacher Road.
The good news? Work for this project should only take two (2) days from start to finish! Day one will involve milling the roadway and day two will be for resurfacing. By day three, you will be able to drive and park on the street as usual.
However, we will need your help to make the process as efficient as possible. Namely, no vehicles may park on Belforest Drive during construction. Parking within your condo’s parking lot(s) is permitted, it is only Belforest Drive itself that is a concern.
Asphalt Paving Systems will have flagging staff on-site directing traffic through the work zone so you may enter and exit your parking lot when needed. Paving will be conducted one side at a time in order to reduce any inconveniences to you and your neighbors.
I am available to answer any questions you may have regarding the construction process, as are representatives of Asphalt Paving Systems. Should you have any questions, please reach out to us at the contact information below and we will be happy to assist.
