Side Yard Pickup
We have recently completed a survey of our residents to explore the feasibility of providing side yard pick up based on user fees. The survey had 761 respondents and of those respondents, 509 had no interest in paying a monthly user charge for the side yard pick up. The town analyzed the remaining 252 responses and identified that because of the low interest in paying for the side yard service, it was not feasible to provide the service to residents at the $0.01-$5.00 range or the $5.01 to $10.00 range. The town will continue to provide the side yard pick up service at the rate of $15.00/mo to any resident who is interested in the service.
