Tennis Memberships
Belleair residents only may purchase a tennis membership at the Dimmitt Community Center for $50. Memberships are issued on an annual basis from September 1st to August 31st. A membership key will be issued allowing access to the courts.
Court Hours: 7:00 am to 10:00 pm
Singles: 1 Hour
Doubles: 1 1/2 Hours

Tennis Lessons
The Belleair Recreation Department is offering youth tennis lessons for beginner and advanced players throughout the school year. Lesson days, times and prices for all age groups will be as follows:

The instructor for the tennis program is Gail O’Connor. Gail has played tennis for many years, and has been teaching in Pinellas County for over 20 years. She has helped to develop many good, young players in the Belleair area, and has been the foundation of a very successful tennis program.

Tennis Court Rules
1. Tennis courts are available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
2. Tennis courts are assigned on a first come basis. Playing time will be:
Singles: 1 Hour
Doubles: 1 1/2 Hours.
3. Special programs authorized by the recreation board may block use of the courts for recreation department instruction, and men’s and women’s round robins.
4. No one may make a claim for another court while still engaged in play and while other people are waiting to play.
5. Lessons are not permitted on Saturday or Sunday.
6. No more than three (3) balls are permitted on a court if there are objections from players on other courts.
7. Players are not to cross behind another court while play is in progress.
8. Dress must be in good taste and designed for tennis; Approved court shoes (no jogging shoes) and shirts must be worn at all times.
9. Obscene language will not be tolerated.
10. Players are requested to place all trash, including ball containers, lids, paper, etc. in available trash bins. Please leave the court area clean for the next players.
11. The Town of Belleair reserves the right to revoke any tennis member- ship and all playing privileges for failure to observe the above rules and regulations.
