What is a house check and how do I get one started?: To help you enjoy short-term stays away (whether for vacation, hospitalization, or other reasons), you can do so with a sense of security through our complimentary and confidential house check program. To initiate a house check, residents should simply fill out a House Check Application and either email it to housecheck@townofbelleair.net or bring it by the Police Department service counter during office hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm).

1. 2. What additional policing services does the Town of Belleair provide?: In addition to regular 24/7 policing, the Belleair Police Department provides a variety of programs and services for residents. 3. Do I require a permit for a temporary activity, such as a garage sale or estate sale?: Garage sales, estate sales, vehicle sales, special events, and other special activities that are allowed by ordinance but require permits. Temporary activity permits (and special event permits) are granted by the Belleair Police Department. Additionally, any company applying for an estate sale must first obtain an Occupational License from the Town Clerk before a permit will be issued.

4. Where can I view information regarding the Code of Ordinances?: Belleair’s Code of Ordinances is our local set of laws enforced by the Police Department and is published online at the link below. Once on the website, residents can search by keyword for items they are looking for.

5. Where can I report a code enforcement issue?: The Town of Belleair’s Police Department is dedicated to code enforcement in addition to regular policing duties. There are two ways to report a concern or violation. First, we encourage residents to use SeeClickFix, an online reporting tool, to report code violations. SeeClickFix is available as a free app and is also available directly on our website . Alternatively, residents can call non-emergency police dispatch at (727) 588-3500.

6. What phone number should I call for police assistance?: For emergencies, ALWAYS dial 911. For non-emergency police dispatch (i.e. code enforcement, a general question for an officer), call (727) 588-3500. To reach the police administration line, you may call Town Hall at (727) 588-3769.
