Belleair was recognized by the Florida Department of Health's Public Health Dental Program as one of the 32 public water systems in the State of Florida that maintained 12 consecutive months of optimal fluoridation levels in 2016. This honor was only granted to three water systems in Pinellas County, and is a testament to Belleair's commitment to water that improves the oral health of our community and residents.

Additionally, the Town's Water Department was recognized for 50 years of membership with the American Water Works Association for consistently meeting their high standards for water quality and maintenance.
